Candidate Orientation Day

Are you wondering if White Stag is for you? Here's your chance to find out. Come to Candidate Orientation Day. Every year youth like you come to Candidate Day not quite sure why they are there of if they want to come to summer camp. Perhaps a friend of yours is really excited about the camp and encouraged you to come. Or your leader or parent heard about it and wants you to come.

No matter what the reason, Candidate Orientation Day is the place to get your questions answered.

You get to meet your youth staff camp leaders and learn more about the program. You get a taste of what summer camp is about. You'll get a chance to improve a few outdoors skills, meet other candidates, and practice a couple of leadership skills.

Date and Location

Parent Orientation

From 10:00 to 12:00 on Candidate Day, we will provide parents and interested leaders a "hands-on orientation," in which we put you through an exercise like that your children take part in, learning leadership skills. Afterward there are a number of nearby restaurants that you might enjoy including those on Fisherman's Wharf.
